360 camera to create equirectangular custom images

Hello- I’m interested in creating 360 equirectangular images for use in cospaces. Does anyone have recommendations for the best 360 camera or has used one to do this?

I’ve only used Insta 360 Air, and it’s good enough, but there are newer and better quality cameras available now. It depends on how you intend to use it.

Thanks. Any recommendations for newer cameras? I want to create custom environments for activities that I can create as well as kids can use for their creations.

The Theta 360 series is really good.

If you will be letting kids use a 360 camera you might consider a waterproof case. Most cameras have 2 exposed fisheye lens that can easily be damaged.
