Gifs and short videos to show others how to do things

Hi all, at times I see people who made animated gifs or short video instructions in order to show how to deal with a certain issue.

There seems to be some standard regarding these materials.

Do people like @Nikolay and other use certain tools for this? If so, how to get access to these tools?

Hi @Frank_Claessen,

we do not have any standards and any recorded video can be uploaded to the forum.
Many tools have similar functionality, but here is a list of the most used: shareX, Gyazo, LightShot, ScreenFlick (paid).
