Is there any way to set the animation for multiple characters at once (meaning with a single block) or do they always have to be coded separately? I have 46 characters that I would like to be able to set to “sitting chair” all at the same time. I’ve tried setting up a group and creating a list, but neither groups not lists appear as options on the “set animation” block. I’ve resigned myself to having to code them all separately, but it would be wonderful (especially for later in the project) if there was a way to animate them with a single block!

you might want to look on this tutorial on lists. Example there demonstrates how to move items in a list; changing their posture is not that much different.
