Disable gyroscope by default on Android

Hello everyone,

is it possible to disable the gyroscope function by default when playing a project on android devices?
When I create a project, it is always on by default. It is especially annoying when navigating multiple scenes, because it is turned on in every scene, even ones that I already viewed and turned the gyroscope off.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Andrea

Hi @MadLab, simply click the VR/mobile icon in the bottom right corner to see the option to Enable or Disable Gyro mode.

Hope this helps! If this solves your problem, please mark this post as the Solution.

Hi @techleapnz, thank you for your reply.
Yeah, that’s what I do, but my problem is that the gyro mode is always turned on by default (at least in the Tour (beta) cospace).
That means when I press play the scene is in gyro mode, so I have to disable it. I change scene and the new scene is in gyro mode, so I disable it again, but when I go back to the previous scene (where I already disabled gyro) it’s in gyro mode again.
I’m looking for a way to disabling it by default. I don’t know if I have been clear.

Thank you for adding more detail to your issue - this helps developers replicate the issue. Questions for you:

  1. Is gyro enabled by default in normal 3D CoSpace environment?
  2. Is gyro enabled by default in a 360 CoSpace environment?
  3. Can you provide an example CoSpace where the issue is happening for you?

Am I right that the problem for you is the change in viewing mode across scenes? ie, you think that if you change a viewing mode in one scene, the app should stick with that mode in the next scene? (a very reasonable assumption)
