Stopping Variables and Function Question

A student wants the countdown/variable to stop in his game if something is clicked. Is there a way to do this?

Also, is there a simple way to make functions go between scenes? It seems as if this would be something simple to set up. Thanks!

For topic #1 there are plenty of posts on this topic in this forum - please search for “stop timer”. Here’s an example: Text stops timer when clicked - #3 by techleapnz

For topic #2, just copy the function with Ctrl+C in scene 1 and paste into Scene 2 code with Ctrl+V. When sharing data across scenes or scripts, use CoSpace Properties (global variables).
