Well, this concludes my journey with CoSpaces. I’m not sure if I will be back as we have new teachers and they set the curriculum as they come.
This is my feedback:
The Year 7’s absolutely loved CoSpaces. I guess it gave them the opportunity to build a 3D world without the steep learning curve of Unity or UE, etc. They are absolutely exhausted now though.
The ClassVR was a good payout at the end of the year, but I had so many students asking about the jump button. I did have a work around for that, but it is too hard to implement when you are dealing with 160 Year 7s. Please fix this.
The one thing I would ask for next time is that the default for all objects be “codable”. Every object should be “codable” unless it is just decoration. That part drove me nuts.
A little more control over the camera physics would also be nice.
Other than that, it has been good for the kids. Even the ones who “Don’t get it” enjoyed the experience.
